From a town of cow paths to a City with over 240 miles of roads and four MBTA stations, transportation is among the most critical challenges we face. Dedicated bicycle paths, ferry service, making Quincy more pedestrian-friendly, and alleviating neighborhood-parking concerns is an attainable goal, and one that will be driven by the community.
We are an old City with old infrastructure, but we’re aggressively moving to upgrade many of our public assets. How we protect – and improve—these assets and improve access to transportation leading up to 2025, is a focal point of this area, and that includes adapting to a growing population.
